Infographic Illustration

I wrote and illustrated a graphic educational book for kids called It's Okay To Be A Spacer to encourage an interest in astronomy and the universe. Information is presented in a clear infographic way while the illustrations are scanned pastel pencil drawings which were enhanced on Photoshop.

Formula 1 saw a significant change in many regulations in 2017, most significantly in the aerodynamic aspects of the car and a move to hybrid power units. In advance of the new season I designed an infographic double page spread for the reader to visually compare the new car designs to the previous year's.

 

The spread also included an explanation of the complicated new hybrid power units and associated energy recovery systems and a separate spread showed the schedule of races for the season together with driver line-ups and cars for each team.
